The design of his Ridley bike is not completely new. The Belgian manufacturer is building on the pursuit bike with which Victor competed at the Olympic Games in Rio. The bike also has a lot of gadgets, such as sprockets made entirely of aluminium. This gem has 63 teeth at the front and 15 at the back. The tyres have also been taken in hand. The gold-coloured tubes were developed for the record attempt. The basis is a silk carcass, which ensures low resistance.
